Hello everyone, it's Giorgia here today.
Today I would love to show you a layout with a background made with strips of papers: I love this kind of background, it is also really useful to use up all the papers scraps from other projects. I think that every scrapper has a lot of them! I sort them in a big box and use them to create this type of projects.
As background paper I chose Ever and Always paper pad blue dot paper, and since the LO is with a sea picture, I decided to keep it all in blues and natural tones.
I cut strips of the same size from Tears in Rain mini paper pad and
Dreams come true mini paper pad; I layer them down applying glue only in the centre, so I can pull up all the edges to create dimension and movement.
I created a vertical design from top to bottom of the page.
I embellished the strips of papers with die-cuts and wooden embellishments, then I added the picture and decorated it with butterflies and a canvas sticker.
These are the paper I used, you can find them here.
I hope you like my layout and give it a try on this kind of background technique!
A presto, ciao
